Dear ACCSES Member and Visitors,
Welcome to the ACCSES website and the Board of Directors' Corner. As the ACCSES Board president, I consider it a privilege to serve such a dedicated network of more than 80 organizations across the country, which are fueled by parallel goals and purposes of enhancing the lives of people with disabilities.
As the unified voice of disability service providers, ACCSES affords members the opportunity to influence federal policies and legislation that improve the quality of life of people with disabilities. Through education and collaborations, information and strong advocacy, ACCSES this year has protected important funding streams on which people with disabilities rely for meaningful, community-based services and supports. With the Obama Administration and a new Congress, ACCSES holds great hope for new and better means to serve people with disabilities and their families, and we will be there to share our Members' collective thinking and experiences.
I thank all of our ACCSES Members for standing with us together as the Voice of Disability Providers. Your membership commitment is invaluable to our continued successes. And, together, we will continue our strong advocacy efforts for years to come.
